With a slew of candidates vying for statewide, congressional and local offices, plus a dizzying amount of ballot measures, it’s easy to be a little overwhelmed by everything going on this election cycle. But to make the electoral process easier, we’re partnering with The Sacramento Bee to help you understand what’s on your ballot for the 2026 midterms.

The Sac Bee’s Capitol Bureau reporters will be on hand to answer your questions and explain the 14 propositions on the California ballot. They’ll also discuss what they know about the hot races affecting our region. Additionally, reporters from the Local Accountability Team will talk about the down-ballot, local races happening around the region.

The 90-minute event will be at the Sac Bee’s newsroom in East Sacramento. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
