Welcome to the ENLIGHTENMENT Trivia Night, in which you play a thematic game each time, and also play for a great cause.

March is Women’s History Month, so the trivia questions will be all about ladies who rock and women who rule. From the Egyptian ruler Cleopatra to the Olympic champion Alysa Liu, test your knowledge of rule-breaking and history-making females in history, art, sports, science, songs and more.

The great cause you’ll be supporting is Chicks In Crisis, which helps teen moms and families in need, whether it’s for diapers and formula, or education on how to better care for a baby. Chicks In Crisis had to sell the Elk Grove ranch it used as a safe haven for teen moms but instead of giving up, it quickly pivoted ( as women do so well) and is going mobile, putting its supplies in a hot pink van and meeting its clients where they are, making it easier for young moms who don’t have transportation.

Registration fee to play is $5 (to cover costs of running the salon space). But your real ticket to play is bringing something Chicks In Crisis can provide the moms they’re helping — i.e., diapers, blankets, toys, gift cards to major stores — or if you want to send it directly, buy something on their Amazon wishlist.

Prizes go to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Teams of up to 6 people. And don’t worry about coming solo — we’ll pair you with other people to make up a great team.

I’ll provide a few drinks and snacks, but please feel free to BYO.
