Welcome to the ENLIGHTENMENT Trivia Night, in which you play a thematic game each time, and also play for a great cause.

For August, the trivia theme is “Back to School.” We’ll have elementary and higher-ed questions in categories from sports and science to food and pop culture. And start thinking about old-school songs from the 50s and 60s till now so you can name those tunes.

The charitable cause you’ll be supporting is Capitol College & Career Academy (CapCCA), a public charter high school in Sacramento that trains teenagers to work in construction, plumbing and electrical jobs. With so many companies needing skilled workers in the trades, and so many high schoolers graduating with no idea what they want to do, CapCCA is connecting the two groups, allowing young people to get good high-paying jobs even if they’re not on the college track.

Buy a Trivia Night ticket and all proceeds go to CapCCA to buy school supplies for their students Also, for every drink you buy during Trivia Night, you have the opportunity to add an extra donation into the pot. And of course, you can donate directly to CapCCA by going to their website. .

Teams of up to 6 people. And don’t worry about coming solo — we’ll pair you with other people to make up a great team.
