ENLIGHTENMENT is partnering with Capital Science Communicators to host Sacramento Science on Tap, a public event scheduled on the second week every month to inspire scientific curiosity and conversation over cocktails.

We’re inviting engaging local scientists from the powerhouse universities and research centers in this area to share their research, tell stories, and inform and entertain us.

We start things off at New Helvetia Brewing with Jared Shaw, professor of chemistry at UC Davis, who will bring some “chemical tinker toys” to show us how he and his team builds antibiotics and other human-useful molecules.
